This December, Kingswear, Maypool and Hillhead come together for a brand-new Christmas festival:&nbsp;<strong>KingFest25<\/strong>. From festive markets to carols, crafts to sea shanties, we\u2019re filling the parish with music, laughter and community cheer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2728 What\u2019s On<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\ud83d\ude8c <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kingfest.fun\/?page_id=32\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"32\">Free Bus Service<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>&#8211; Connecting Maypool &#8211; Hillhead \u2013 Kingswear<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83e\udd41<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kingfest.fun\/?page_id=34\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"34\">Drumming Welcome<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211; Taiko drummers wake you up and have a try afterwards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83c\udf84&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kingfest.fun\/?page_id=36\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"36\">Christmas Market &amp; Stalls<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 festive gifts, handmade crafts, and local produce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83c\udfa8&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kingfest.fun\/?page_id=36\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"36\">Children\u2019s Activities<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 place setting making, face painting, and Christmas drawings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83c\udf32<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kingfest.fun\/?page_id=22\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"22\">Centrepiece Making<\/a><\/strong><sup>\ud83c\udf9f\ufe0f<\/sup>&nbsp;\u2013 creative workshop for all ages (maximum 10 participants)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u2b50&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kingfest.fun\/?page_id=124\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"124\">2-4 Club<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 come join us for afternoon tea<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udd14&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kingfest.fun\/?page_id=39\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"39\">Bell Ringing &amp; Light Switch-On<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 see the parish sparkle<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83c\udfb6&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kingfest.fun\/?page_id=41\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"41\">Carol Concert<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 mince pies and mulled wine in the church, sing along or just enjoy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83c\udf89&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kingfest.fun\/?page_id=27\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"27\">Evening Food, Bar, Music &amp; Dancing<\/a><\/strong><sup>\ud83c\udf9f\ufe0f<\/sup>&nbsp;\u2013 a chance to eat, drink and be merry together with sea shanties and live sets to keep the night buzzing (maximum 70 participants)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83d\udcc5 Festival Schedule<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>12:00pm-10:00pm<\/strong> &#8211; Hourly bus service<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>1:00pm<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Drumming welcome<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2:00\u20134:00pm<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/kingfest.fun\/?page_id=124\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"124\">Tea &amp; cakes 2\u20134 club style in the upper hall with Sea Shanties<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Market stalls in the lower hall<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Centrepiece making in the upper hall<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Children&#8217;s activities in the lower hall<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>4:30pm<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Bell ringing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>5:00pm<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Christmas light switch-on<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>5:30\u20136:30pm<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 mince pies &amp; mulled wine in the church followed by carols<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>6:30pm<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Buffet &amp; bar open in the upper hall<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Evening<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Live music<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>10:30pm<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 Carriages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\ud83c\udf1f Get Involved<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>KingFest25 is a community celebration, and we\u2019d love you to be part of it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Volunteer<\/strong>&nbsp;to help with stalls, decorations or stewarding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sponsor<\/strong>&nbsp;a tree, mug, or activity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Spread the Word<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2013 tell your neighbours and friends.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/kingfest.fun\/?page_id=65\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"65\">Enter our children\u2019s competition<\/a> &#8211; submit a design for commemorative memorabilia.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc49<a href=\"https:\/\/kingfest.fun\/?page_id=20\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"20\"> Contact us<\/a> to join in<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u2728 Three Villages, One Celebration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>KingFest25 is more than a festival \u2013 it\u2019s a moment for our community to come together.
